Ask a question:

I took a course worth 9 CEUs, can I use it to cover my CEU requirements for 3 reporting periods?

Solution No. The EOCP Board decided that CEU's would not divide between multiple reporting periods. This was a decision made to prevent Operators from taking a 20.0 CEU's course and then not having to complete any CEU's for 10 years. The decision was also made to prevent Operators from being behind on their Continuing Education and simply taking a large volume course to catch up. The Board at the time wanted to ensure 'Continuing' Education for EOCP Operators. It is for these reasons that CEU's do not divide up between recording periods.
